FLEMING / MENSING Marriage Announcement

Following their Saturday evening wedding in Grosse Point Memorial Church, Mr. and Mrs. Richard J Fleming left for a wedding trip thought the East.
For the rites the bride, former Barbara Mensing or McMillan road, wore a gown of ivory satin and chantilly lace. Lace scallops formed the portrait neckline and the large skirt swept into a formal lace train. She carried stephanotis and ivy.
Maid of honor was Joyce Judson and the bridesmaids wee Donna Georgi, Ann Carter and Elaine Higgins. They wore rust velvet gowns and matching headpieces with circular veils. Their flowers were yellow mums and ivy.
best man for his brother was William Fleming. They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Pearl E. Fleming of Wisconsin avenue. Ushers were Richard Shorr, Kenneth Hansen, Jay Ceran and Daniel Slowe.
To greet her guests at a Whittier reception, the bride's mother wore a slate blue gown and a pale blue beaded hat.
